The Jackson-Stops sponsored Wilmslow Cricket Club are delighted to announce that following weeks of work between the club, the Cheshire Cricket Board & various teams around the league, we can FINALLY confirm the fixtures and formats for our Sunday (3rd XI) side for the 2020 season.
With the influx of new players, especially those new to the sport, the WCC Committee decided upon not entering the shortened league for the 2020 season, and instead opt to play friendlies around the county. With help from Gareth Moorhouse from the CCB, the team has been able to schedule the following games:
Sunday August 9th – WCC @ Broadbottom – T20
Sunday August 23rd – WCC @ Langley Cricket Club – T20
Sunday September 6th – WCC @ Urmston Cricket Club – T20
Sunday September 20th – WCC @ Colwyn Bay – T20
Sunday September 27th – End Of Season Inter-Squad T20 Game
The Sunday’s in between each fixture (apart from Sunday the 30th August 2020) will be additional training sessions for those who feel they would benefit from it and will be held between 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm at Wilmslow Leisure Centre. We look forward to welcoming plenty of new faces into The Squirrels family!
