Squirrels Castled at Cholmondeley

It was another tough day at the office for the Squirrels as they were castled at Cholmondeley.

The day started disastrously as none of the Wilmslow squad had arrived at the Castle by the 12.30 start time due to horrendous traffic, and being lost within the grounds, which resulted in them forfeiting the toss and made to bat on a green wicket. The majority of the Squirrels found it very tough to bat on and Jegs and Dixon top scored with 21 and 17. The Squirrels struggled their way to 100 all out off 31 overs.

The Cholmondeley batsman took a cautious approach, not taking many risks as they chased the Squirrels target in 28 overs, for the loss of just 3 wickets. A bad day all round and one the Squirrels will want to forget!

Next week sees the Squirrels welcome Bredbury to Rectory Fields as they look to bounce back!
